Icon packs not showing

Post by Tbortz87 » Mon Apr 01, 2019 3:01 pm

I have an icon pack that was working fine. Now it still shows in the list of icon pack options but no icon choices show. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the icon pack, didn't help. Other icon pack still working fine. The icon pack I'm trying to access still works if applying to app menu but it doesn't work to change individual icons anywhere. https://i.ibb.co/nbDp4Cj/Screenshot-201 ... uncher.jpg

Instead of using the 'Icon pack' option use the 'Application' one. That should display the icons in a more consistent way.

Sure dev said the reason for this is because the icon packs aren't displaying in a certain way.

"Alphabets Icon Pack" works neither in icons nor application.
Is this pack incompatible?

My guess is that Lightning Launcher is not checking enough "drawable" directories in the package's "res" directory. It often appears to parse PNGs in "res/drawable" just fine (although it ought to ignore zero length files) and maybe "drawable-xhdpi" but any directories with an android API version number (e.g. "drawable-xhdpi-v4") or odd DPI ("anydpi", "nodpi", "tvdpi") or other configuration qualifiers (e.g. "ldrtl") are ignored.

OTOH, that is just a guess.
