Icon File Browser not Showing Folders at Root Directory
I'm sorry if this is just operator error (though hopefully it is that simple!)
When selecting an icon for a shortcut I tend to use the "File" option, and haven't had problems before. I recently pressed the "Up" button too many times and ended up at the root directory. But instead of showing the storage folder to get back to my files, it just says, "No icon to display."
So I'm stuck. It doesn't seem possible to manually type in an address, and Lightning remembers the last folder so it just brings me back here every time. So I don't know what to do, but this seemed like a bug. Any help would be appreciated! My phone isn't rooted, in case that's related. If there's any additional information I should provide let me know.
P.S. Thank you for making this great launcher. I've used it for years and this is the first problem I've encountered.

Yeah this has been around a while it really needs fixing, as far as I'm aware the only way we can fix this is to clear data on the app

Oof. Glad I'm not alone I guess, but that's too bad. I really hope this can get fixed. For the time being though, I guess I'll hope it works well to export/import everything. Thanks for pointing me to something that will work at least.

Probably won't be fixed anytime soon, this place is dead

I had a gut feeling that was the case.. Is there by chance a preferred way to report bugs or is Lightning Launcher just without any support at this point?

I think the dev prefers them to be reported here but yeah it's pretty much without support at this point.barthisius wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 5:33 pmI had a gut feeling that was the case.. Yeah, I'm not gonna develop fixes I can't publish. Pierre is the only one who can publish, and he's been away for several months now.

I know nothing. Last thing was he wasn't developing, but at least rarely reviewing fixes and publishing them. TrianguloY and I have gained source access last time he was away for a while. We can only hope he comes back some time, even if it is only to delegate more. I'm relatively hopeful, but it could take months or years.

Okay. I hope he's okay whatever is going on. Thank you for the info and the work you've been doing.
