WhatsApp chat shortcuts stopped working

I guess that WhatsApp changed the way they handle chat shortcuts. Or Android security settings have changed. I have made sure LL has full permissions.
I used to be able to use shortcuts for WhatsApp conversations (I would swipe up on WhatsApp icon and go directly to a certain conversation and down for different chat conversation etc) but recently it stopped working. Has anyone encountered this? I've even tried creating a chat shortcut from the WhatsApp app but then it crashes LL.
