Icon packs on desktop pages

Is there a way I can use different icon packs on different pages of desktop? Eg. I use a pack on 1st page and have system icon on other. Tried panel, but it's not that comfortable.

- use panels (solution with minimal setup and knowledge required)
- apply icons manually
- write a script to do it for you (probably optimal solution, requires knowledge)
