Icon mask/shape

How can I change desktop icons shape for fit circle or rounded square. Tried to use mask, but it just adds shape on an icon.

If you are using android 8.0+ (if I remember correctly) you can change the setting from the default launcher.
Search 'change adaptive icon shape'.
If not, that script is the only current option.

I don't have such an option (Google Pixel 2 XL, Android Q). And script just don't work for me, icons stay the same.

It seems the process has changed in android 10 (as usual...). Now you need to go to the developer settings.
Google 'android Q change icon shape' and follow the instructions.
Does it work now?

No, it didn't. LL force closes as I change that option(
