Android Pie - no phone app

Android Pie - no phone app

My phone was just updated with Android Pie, and now the phone app doesn't work. If I go back to the original launcher, the icon looks different and it works. If I add the phone app in LL, it doesn't. Help !

From the app drawer press the three dots menu and then 'refresh'.
