Is it possible to create the pulley menu from Sailfish OS? see here.

You can make the menu part easily just by using a sidebar that displays from the top of the screen, the hard part is getting the sidebar to display at the right time and the item selector thingymajig (glowing green line in video), with script it's possible to move an item using a drag gesture and i think it can also be done with bindings so you could that to display the sidebar but I have no idea how you would do the selection bit.

I created a shortcut at the top off-screen with a stop point that runs the script then runs "zoom 100p". It works but I can only use 1 shortcut that way because It would automatically zoom 100p when I reach the first stop point before I could get to the 2nd item. How would you move the sidebar with a script/bindings? There is a "position" section in bindings, so it looks like maybe you could do it with that.
