LL crash when trying to setup Gesture Launcher

hi guys,
I moved to Honor 10 running on Android 9.0.0.162 (EMUI 9.0.0.) from my old Lenovo on Android 6
I found that Gesture Launcher does not work - first I was able to define gestures but then all my attempts ended up with "gesture not recognized"
and then when I try to open Gesture Launcher - MultiTool stops and sometimes also LL crashs
it seems MultiTool is the reason - do you have the same experiences ?
any solution ? suggestion ?

Just close all activities or reboot after having set your gestures.
It's because Gesture Launcher is not closing

thx for advice but it is not my case, even after reboot it does not recognize the gesture and even ore - I cannot start Gesture launcher. Multitool seems to work but Gesture Launcher doe not.

Gesture Launcher working fine on Oreo.

Could you show us how you are doing ?

when I start MultiTol and choose Gesture Launcher in menu - then MultiTool close automaticaly
so I cannot enter Gesture Launche menu and settings
is there a way how to verify if Gesture Launcher script is compatible with my phone ?

Don't enter from here.

Long press click on +
Then click on plugin tab

Select Gesture Launcher

Then a view is created
Long press on it and Select Gestures
so you'll go on Gesture Launcher

After creating your gestures close all activities or just reboot

Bruno, thanks for your advice - unfortunately when I followed your instruction it ended up again with crash of Gesture Launcher
even after re-install it does not work
something is broken and I cannot fix it
