At the moment, the preferred way to use the community forum is through a web browser. The site is now using web push notifications, as a result you should be able to receive notifications even when the site is not open in your browser, including on Android mobile devices. Make sure that your browser is at a recent version though.
This is also possible to use a dedicated mobile app:
Regarding Tapatalk, I had bad feedback regarding the security of their extension. I would prefer to avoid it, except if many people wish to use it, in which case I'll have a second look at it.

I'll have a look at those apps - although the web interface seems to work quite well on mobile anyway (unlike other forums I have used!)

Using the forum through Chrome on my mobile is presently not difficult presently. But a mobile app must be need of the hour though...

I've tried the Topic'It app, but it won't even start, sys something about a connection error. I think their server has problems currently. Browser notifications work fine, so I'll use those.

Can you please add Tapatalk support for the forum? It's an app that makes forum navigation much more easier. It's free

Edit, I've just seen the other post about apps for the forum. Sorry

Xda and the official forums of Kodi use Tapatalk . Do you really think it has security issues?

Neither Xda nor Kodi use phpBB.
It seems the history between phpBB and Tapatalk is not a love one...

Sry if this location iz not the correct or right way to post. I've looked everywhere for that opinion. I've been running Lightning Launcher for 6-8 Mos. Loving it on all angles. Is there a way to lock desktop to prevent accidentally app & widgets from being moved. Is there a way to lock rotation to portrait.
